Hi
Any info on this Robert clarinet? It's apparently not an A. Robert which I see mentioned more often. It was made in France (according to the engraving on it). I don't remember seeing a Buffet or Malerne (including stencils) with that shape of finger rings.
Also if anyone has a bottom barrel ring that would fit, or a whole barrel, I'm interested. I tried a Buffet barrel ring for comparison. It's a little too big and also the shape of the ring and barrel make it stick out and probably uncomfortable to hold. The width is pretty much the same.
Thanks

It makes you wonder if they're somehow tenuously linked to Leblanc (former employee, etc.) going by some characteristics like soldered side key touches, separately mounted trill keys and the logo is in essence a rounded version of the Leblanc logo.

Thanks. It's unusual to write the last name before the first (except in some places like China, etc.).
Thanks, I found that it's connected to the Siour-Chapelain but wasn't which was before or how.
Does anyone know if this was a separate instrument factory in France (seems to be) that just closed at some point?
