Thanks ! Great article. I once found one in a French popular science magazine about a scanner study of musicien's brains while playing that made the point that when improvising, the brain over-rides acquired inihibitions or self-censoring mechanisms and functions as in a dream state. Made a lot of sense. I'll see if I still have it, its was around 2010-11.
