Does anyone know of a good CD with Leo Weiner's Peregei Verbunk on it? It can be with clarinet or violin; at the moment I can't find anything. One that you can personally reccomend would be extra good.
Thanks

I will be interested to know if you find anything. But you have given me another idea for a piece to record this summer. I will try to remember to post if I get around to recording the Weiner. I have always loved this piece.

I can't vouch for availability but I can give you two clarinet recordings. My Spring, 2000 Schwann lists a recording on Summit 235 by Im Soo Lee. I think I may have seen this one turn up on eBay now and again. There is also a recording on Melisma 7170-2 by Heiner Rekezus (album name is "Stimmungen eines Fauns"). Hope that helps.
