Hi,
First off I just wanted to say hi to everybody here- I am a brand new member of the Clarinet BBoard.
Used to play clarinet as a kid, and I recently decided to start playing again after a 30 years hiatus.
I also just started working on my first even clarinet overhaul. Recently purchased off ebay an older Uebel 821 improved Boehm clarinet that I am in the process of restoring. Took apart, applied bore oil to wood several times, polished keys, new cork on tenons, new pads going in these days.
I did hit a few setbacks though- a couple of rollers were worn out enough that the screwdriver slot broke so I will need a few new rollers.
I am also swapping all pivot screws with new ones and a few of them are stuck in the posts.
I am trying my best to get them out but I might need to get a couple of new posts to use with new pivot screws.
Hence my question- can anyone point me please towards a few good resources for purchasing odd clarinet parts like rollers, posts, etc?

It's pretty hard to find Uebel parts but you can get them from Uebel I think. I'm not positive though.
You can try heat from a tiny mini torch and a few drops of that stuff called penetrating oil and leave it on overnight or longer, to get the frozen screws. I prefer trying oil first, because I don't like heating up metal, which then heats up the wood a bit. Use a strong and long screwdriver for support, not those tiny things and sometimes you can buy an oversize screwdriver and alter it using a grinding wheel. You can get a decent grinding wheel at places like Harbor Freight for $25. I then take the grinding wheels off and put on buffing wheels and use these to polish mouthpieces and silver keys. I really can't live without this wheel.

Thanks Bob! I already emailed Uebel a few days ago, still waiting for an answer. (in fact I emailed Oscar Adler too in hope they would sell them to me, just mentioned I am restoring a german clarinet which the uebel is ha ha).
Yeah, I already tried both oil and heat, no luck.
However, it looks to me like the posts and rollers are common sizes so there is quite a chance they are interchangeable with rollers and posts from other makes. In fact I already bought new pivot screws, they are for Yamaha clarinets but fit the uebel perfectly.
I would be happy to purchase a few no name rollers and posts and see how they match my clarinet, I just do not know of any online retail business that would sell miscellaneous parts such as the rollers and posts.

When I restored some old clarinets with roller keys I had the same problem. I was able to source replacement rollers through the craft section of a fabric store where they sell beads of all shapes and sizes. I found some black beads that were exactly the same shape and size as the old rollers on the instruments.

You can use alum to remove stuck screws, as long as the screws are made of a ferrous metal (pretty much always are) and the post is non-ferrous (pretty much always too). I'm not sure if the exact type of alum matters, but you put it with water in a non-ferrous or other material pot/container (aluminium, ceramic, etc.) and it's best to have it almost boiling. It supposedly works without heating but it would take ages (even weeks or months for a tiny screw). Even hot it's very slow (sometimes days for a small screw, sometimes less). Just take the post off and put it in it, so you can use a very small container (I use a tiny ceramic bowl for that).
I've only had to resort to this a couple of times, but a lot of times I had to use special tools to remove stuck or broken screws. Alum can work if you don't have them, as long as you don't mind ruining the screw.
At least this way you won't have to change the post, just the screw (assuming the inner threads are ok, though this can usually be repaired even if they are stripped).

Yes you can take the post out. But it's often hard to grip the post of something, such as a vice to drill the screw out. Sure it can be done this way. In fact it is often suggested.
However, I've used heat and never had to drill out frozen or rusted screws so far.

Yes, posts unscrew very easily. I use utensils very similar to those used in the operating room for clamping small pieces for precision drilling (hemostats for those who know what they are). Something like a vice would not work too well for these small parts application.
