I have a Buffet R13 Eb clarinet that, due to a hand injury, I will never play again. I could get it modified (I just did this with my Bb), but I think the opportunities to play it again will be rare if non-existent. Better it go to someone who will use it.
It is a very fine instrument and served me well. Serial number in the 126,000s
I would prefer to have it sold by a reputable reseller than to do it myself.
Can you provide me with recommendations of resellers who will do the best job of getting me the highest price and treat me and the buyer honestly and fairly?
Thanks,
Steve

Don't see why in the age of the interweb. Your reputable reseller will take a healthy cut of your equity.
Just my opinion.

I'd recommend posting it for sale yourself here in the classifieds, and on the Facebook Clarinet Equipment group.

GOOD 'E'ffers do not go on sale that frequently. The issue a balance between price and having the buyer give it a good trial. Before I'd buy and if you were local, I'd want to give it a trail. Put it to a tuner, try a couple of setups maybe play it in a rehearsal. I'd take it to some teachers or profs and have them try it so that they might source it to a student. Just some thoughts. An 'E'ffer is a wild beast and like a lion tamer, it is a relationship between the master and the animal;)
