That's a wide open request.
.........but
The Clark Fobes mouthpieces are all amazing. You could start with his Debut for about $45.00 that plays just about as good as anything at any price, and step up from there if you agree.

What's your price range and what kind of playing do you do?

I've used a Van Doren 5RV for 20 years, with Van D. 2 1/2 reeds.

Do you mean that the cork didn't fit? That's not uncommon if so. Corks need to fit a variety of barrels and they compress after some use. If lots of cork grease and twisting aren't enough the cork can be lightly and evenly sanded. If the cork were smaller to begin with you might have a good fit at the beginning and a wobbly mouthpiece soon after.

This is an extremely broad topic but I've posted here b4 and was able to find help. You need to ask your self if you want 2 play in tune with your self or with others. Then you need to find out what reeds work with what ever mouth piece you're wanting. I would suggest you try out a LOT of mouth pieces b4 making a decision.
I have 2 Pyne mouth pieces. 1 from college, which I've gotten used 2 now and I'm able to play in tune with my recordings and with a community band. I use Vandoren 3.5s on it with a Rovner big. I have some V21s I'm gonna try on it when I run out of reeds. The other is the Pyne crystal mouth piece which I use on my C Clarinet. I use the V12s on that and I have excellent tone quality on my set up and clarinet once I'm warmed up. I use it for recordings and it records very well.
On my Eb Clarinet I use the Vandoren 5RV and I'm in tune with my recordings and also when playing with other bands. So include tuning in your search and tone quality and I think you'll b fine.
