Bob Wilber looked like a bank clerk and played like an angel. -in all styles, any style. Rest in blessed peace. Thanks for posting, Dan. I didn't realize he lived in England. I wish I had met him there.

Wonderfully versatile player on clarinet and saxophone. Sorry to see him go. For him there was no outdated style of music; he was fresh and alive in every genre--could breathe life in to a two beat tune and segue to Miles Ahead without fuss or bluster. Always got right to the point and into the business of making music.
