Has anyone tried these yet? I see an advertisement for them in the latest Clarinet mag. The PM saxes are very fine, but making a good clarinet is another kettle of fish...

Yeah that's pretty awful, has anyone actually played them?

I'm not enthusiastic about their saxes. It's another Taiwanese sax, but with better marketing. Early on I lost a customer because I kept on charging him big bucks to change pads on a brand new sax. He thought I was taking advantage of him. He loved the sax and was an P. Mauriat artist. I kept on asking him "Don't they give you free service on your sax. Obviously not. The basic flaw of this sax was that it had rolled tone holes and firm pads. Rolled tone holes are not flat and firm pads won't cover them for long. Not all P. Mauriat saxes have rolled tone holes.
Sorry about the rant. Their clarinets may be fine but you won't get the same service and parts availability as the main brands.
