Purchased at an auction...I actually bid on a different clarinet, in a wooden case (probably Albert, was hard to tell in pic), but when my husband picked it up, they gave him a different instrument. I was going to call them until I started looking it over and decided to just keep it. And now I'm looking for more information, but have found very little.
It has tuning dials on both the barrel & lower joint (the barrel dial is stuck but opened the lower one, as you can see). The ONE thing I found online explained it was so you could play the clarinet in either low or high pitch (pretty cool!). I also found it very interesting that it has a metal tenon and inside metal sleeve at the mid joint. Additionally, there are small metal "dots" on some of the key touches. I guess this is just to make it look fancy. It has an intricately stamped leather case with purple lining. I'm not sure when they stopped using that type of case.
Anyhow-I'd appreciate a look & a comment if you'd be so kind. I'm not sure anyone will know anything about that specific maker, but maybe some of the features may stand out to someone.
Thanks for checking out my newest addition.
