Hello everyone,
I currently play a hunter Eb clarinet with a vandoren mouth piece for the Eb. But I am looking to use my Bb clarinet mouth piece make my sounder bolder and clearer. Can anyone recomend where I can buy a barrel that will attach to the Eb clarinet but qalso fit a Bb clarinet mouth piece.

It will NOT work. The mouthpiece and barrel bores will make the Eb horribly out of tune. Maybe a good mouthpiece maker can fix an Eb mouthpiece more to your liking.

If you have not already tried, using Bb reeds on an Eb mouthpiece is a way to 'bigger/bolderize' your sound. You can snip/saw Bb reeds down to size or purchase a barrel (from Backun for sure) that has a flattened surface on the top end made to accommodate a full sized Bb clarinet reed.
As stated above, you'd destroy your internal pitch (note to note) with a larger mouthpiece.

Thanks for this tip (no pun) about the reeds. I'm on the clarinet list on Yahoo Groups and some 1 told me this 19 years ago about the Vandoren Whitemaster reeds. That's what I use for Eb and they work well with my tuning. How ever, Vandoren DOES make the Whitemasters for Eb but they're $50 a box because they're not available in the USA now.
