 Greg Smith mouthpiece
Author: marcia
Date:   2019-05-10 20:03

My much loved Greg Smith mouthpiece recently had an "unfortunate encounter" with the floor and is now unplayable. I looked at his website a few days ago, and the "models" page for his mouthpieces is still listed as temporarily off line for repairs, with the promise that it will return soon. And also I emailed him a few days ago and have no reply. Does anyone know-is he still in the business of making and selling mouthpieces?

I must confess I know nothing about the specs of the mouthpiece that I have so have no idea what an equivalent would be from another maker.

Thanks for any suggestions.
Marcia

Hello Marcia,

I've sold out of all models a few months ago. Since Hans Zinner is no longer making blanks, I am in search for a suitable replacement that would have to meet my standards and as of now, I've not located one. Please be assured that when I do, there will be a continuation of mouthpiece production.

Thank you and stay tuned...

Gregory Smith

Greg if you read this maybe I can help with getting you some good mouthpiece blanks.

Nice to see you on here. I was in Chicago but didn't have time to see you and John Yeh. Send an email to savagesax@aol.com.

Cheers!

Good to hear Gregory isn’t giving up entirely. These are some of the best mouthpieces around!

Thanks for the Brad Behn suggestion. While I await more news from Greg Smith, I will definitely consider a repair. I do have a workable set up in the interim, but would much prefer my Greg Smith.
