 Lyons C Clarinet for young student

Hey folks.

Quick question. Is Lyons still in operation? I seem to recall them advertising here many years ago.

Have got a prospective young student who I think would benefit from working with one.

It's now called the "Nuvo Clarineo" and they're a bit different from the original but yes they can still be purchased.

Last September I was very surprised to see a guy playing a Lyons clarinet at a jam session at Scarborough jazz festival. It turned out that he was Graham Lyons.

I have a Lyons C clarinet that I use when young kids — it’s a reliable instrument. It could be more solidly constructed for that age group, but the newer versions may very well be.
