When I bought my Selmer bass a couple of years ago it came with a tube of Selmer labeled cork grease in a black tube. It is larger than the red colored tube grease, and works great on the larger barrel instrument. But.. I cannot find this anywhere for sale. I'm wondering if anyone reading this might now where I can get more. I know, there are plenty of options, but I just liked this stuff.

I use Doctor Slick. It comes in a 15 mg "monster tube" as well as a smaller version. It can be ordered at www.doctorsprod.com They also carry a great product for cleaning mouthpieces. It's a good sight to become familiar with.

Yeah you can get the "monster tube" from Doctor's Products which is fatter than the regular lipstick size tubes.

La Tromba is my cork grease of choice. I find the majority of commercially available lipstick-style ones do more harm than good as they soak into the cork and destroy the adhesive.

I'll 'pile on' with how much better the Doctor's products and the La Tromba is compared to all of the "branded" tubes, which as Chris added: "do more harm than good"

I've tried the cork greases mentioned so far and my favourite is actually Alisyn. However it comes in a crappy container so for that reason I only use it for repairs (since it's sitting on the table, not in a case). I didn't even suggest it because having a comfortable lipstick tube seems important to the OP. I use Doctor Slick lipstick type on my own clarinets (my second favourite).

I haven't tried it to see what it's like as I have a litre tub of their usual grease which I decant into 5g tubs which I give away with every service or overhaul I do (and will top up or fill existing grease pots with it) as well as a smaller tub for workshop use.

I have both the lipstick and little tub of LaTromba- I prefer the grease in the tub. The grease in lipstick dispenser seems a little hard and "sticky", and the tube dispenser itself is flimsy .
