Hi everyone, do you have recommendations of chamber music for clarinet and percussion? Duo set-ups only please.
Thanks!

Going to YouTube and searching “clarinet percussion duet” yielded many results. I haven’t any personal experience with this chamber group, but you’d get a start and a reference as to what they sound like. This is an avenue you may have already expired, my apologies if the advice is redundant.

The Piazzolla L’histoire du tango (originally for flute and guitar) works well for clarinet and marimba. There is a published clarinet/piano version for you to play from and the percussionist plays off of the original guitar part. Movements can easily be omitted to vary the duration to complete a program.

Sources III by David Burge is a terrific, dramatic piece for clarinet and multiple percussion instruments. It calls for a bit of acting, candlelight, and has a bit of humor. Michigan State has it in their library. Google Sources III by David Burge to locate sources for it. It is oversized. Had it at one time, not sure if I can still locate it.
