Not sure how many jazz fans are on this board, but I thought I would share this in the event you may be interested in watching..
Anat is one of my favorites in today's environment. If you watch it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

mdj,
As a modly (mouldy?) fig, I admittedly visited the link with a bit of hesitation...
However, there was a lot of great stuff in there. I loved the harmony, and Anat surprised me! I've seen some of her stuff on YouTube, and never really "got it." However, she had some great ideas in this clip!
I've seen Paquito perform before, and he's amazing as always.
It's nice to venture out of my comfort zone every once in a while! ;^)>>>
Thanks for sharing the clip!
Fuzzy

I'm glad you all enjoyed.
I'm not a very good player as I'm still only a few years into studying as a late blooming adult.
I do not have a 'trained discerning ear' like many have however, I do know what I enjoy listening to and what I do not.
Anat's playing (among many others) really speaks to me.
"shmuelyosef: Anat is clearly an emerging force in the clarinet world. She spends several weeks here at the Stanford Jazz Workshop every summer, teaching and playing concerts. Her masterclasses are awesome!!

You have quite the amazing list of artists listed. wow!!
