 RIP Wolfgang Meyer

I am hearing sad news that clarinetist Wolfgang Meyer has passed away at the age of 64.

As yet the only notices I have seen are in German. I'm sure there will be much more information in the days to come. 😢🎶

There's news of it on Norman Lebrecht's "Slipped Disc" blog; inEnglish. A great player and sought-after teacher. Rest in blessed peace.
