 Bozza: Fughette-Sicilienne-Rigaudon
Author: Dan Oberlin 2017
Date:   2019-03-04 17:56

The reed trio I'm in is playing this. We have not been able to find any mention of it on the internet (excepting a noninformative entry on There is a Sicilienne and Rigaudon in the Style of Francoeur by Kreisler on IMSLP and these (S and R) are similar to the corresponding movements in the Bozza. So perhaps they were the basis of the two corresponding movements in the Bozza. If you know anything more about this piece, which was written in 1934 for the Trio d'Anches de Paris, or if you can find a link to a good recording of it, please let me know.
