You can distinguish the alternative dates of 1923 or early 50s for the A using the throat A key: if it's the earlier date, it won't have an adjusting screw - these came in about the mid-1930s. Also, a 1920s instrument would probably have the two long LH levers on the lower joint mounted on a single post.
