Fibracell bass clarinet reed strengths

Author: Micke Isotalo ★2017 Date:   2019-02-01 23:24 How are they compared to Vandoren blue box bass reeds? If a blue box 2.5 is suitable to me, what Fibracell strength would you recommend? The Fibracell strength chart puts both a Fibracell 2.0 and a 2.5 in the same range as a Vandoren 2.5 - but it doesn't say which kind of Vandoren. Besides that this chart seems to include both soprano and bass clarinets, as well as all the saxes. Thus it may not be too accurate - as strength charts in general . Post Edited (2019-02-01 23:26)
