Author: Katie K.

I have chair auditions this thursday 1-28-99. Could you all tell me a metronome marking for energico? Thanks a bunch!
Katie :-)

Energico, in Italian means "energetic". The really is no specific metronome marking. Play it with enthusiasm! Use you bets judgement. You'll probably be right. 1/27/99

As Al said, this isn't a metronome setting, but I
would try it at the upper end of moderato and the
lower end of allegro: about 120, and see how that
feels. And apply energy in other ways than speed, too.
Hope this helps.
