I acquired a Buffet clarinet a few years ago. It has me baffled on what it is. It is a little larger than an alto clarinet but it has a neck similar to a bari sax. I will add pictures and if you know what it is please let me know. Thanks.

Wow!
That's a Buffet compact "Opera Model" Bass clarinet. Basically a very compact bass clarinet that uses a smaller bore and mouthpiece than a traditional bass clarinet. Very rare find! I actually have a mouthpiece for one of these, its similar to an alto mouthpiece but has a 19mm bore.
I don't suppose it's for sale? Not that I need any more clarinets...

Thanks for identifying it. It is missing the neck and mouthpiece. I’ve thought about selling it but didn’t know what it was.
