I am planning on taking the Kansas City Symphony associate principal/Eb audition in February, and I know they, and St. Louis, have had several auditions that resulted in no hires.
Does anybody know more information about why this is the case? Especially in Kansas City in particular.
Do they have someone playing they like a lot?
Is really nobody good enough at the auditions?!?
Are they being too picky?
Are auditions, or something about their audition process, bad in general?
Very curious to hear some thoughts on the mysteries of no hires...
