Old Clarinet Models

If anybody could help me it would be greatly appreciated!
I have a pretty good low-end pro clarinet that I use as my main instrument. It's a Selmer Proloque II but was definitely made before Selmer's current range of Proloques, I can't find out anything about it online or even its serial number information from Selmer's website! If anybody knows anything about these clarinets (I've only seen two in my entire life!) please let me know!

I believe the Prologues came out in 1993/4
Try finding a catalogue from that time perhaps?

The Prologue was Selmer's first intermediate model clarinet to compete with the Buffet E13 and Leblanc Esprit. Before then, Selmer only made pro level clarinets - Selmer USA were until then the company that produced Selmer's line of student model clarinets. The current equivalent being the SeleS Prologue.

One thing you may notice on them is they may have plastic tipped tenons and also plastic lined sockets, so that prevents both binding tenons (a common problem with most new wooden clarinets within the first few weeks) and water getting into the end grain.

Having only seen one brand new Prologue that came in and was sold straight away and also servicing one a few years back, I don't have many examples of the Prologue to go on, so not sure if all of them had the plastic sleeved tenons and sockets. Would be good if they did as that's a nice feature.

Thanks for all the help! On the matter of tenons and sockets mine has always had wooden or corked tips and linings. I have no reference for whether mine might have been changed in a service though (at least not one I can remember!)
