 Guy Humphrey pivot screw

Howdy folks,
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a Guy Humphrey parts clarinet in their stash? I got around to re padding one of these and somehow a pivot screw is missing. I have dozens of clarinets in the graveyard not to mention a tin full of random pivot screws, nothing matches! They were using an uncommon thread I suppose.

Anyway I know I can make a new one one but its rather time consumptive and I'm super busy right now, putting out that kind of time for this instrument doesn't make sense. I'd be in to buying a parts horn or just the screw. Let me know, thanks!

Mk

Looks like it was made in France. Do you have any old French clarinets in your bone yard? If you have measurements from another screw, I may have something.

Yes I have quite a few old French clarinets in the boneyard so I was surprised that I couldn't find any matching screws. I'll have to get out my magnifier and see if I can match the thread pitch with the teeny little gauge I have.
thanks,
Mk

I know a repairman that makes screws. You may need to send the parts so he can make it correctly. Send an email if interested.

I can make screws too, but, its very time consumptive. If this were a rare/valuable instrument it would be totally worth my time but I have a zillion horns in my workshop in need of repair, so I figured I put this clarinet aside and see if someone might have what I need for less work.
But I'll send you an email anyway, wouldn't hurt to have another contact/resource in the future for certain projects.
thanks,
Mk
