Helping a friend look for an entry to intermediate level clarinet with a left pinkie Ab/Eb key.
I know Backun Alpha and Bete models have this as an option as well as the Uebel Classic.
If anyone knows of other models, I'd appreciate the input.

The Buffet Prodige and Yamaha YCL-250 were available with the LH Ab/Eb lever, but I can't find them listed.
I can't see why it shouldn't be standard on all clarinets as it's far less costly to add one at the point of manufacture than it is to add one later on. And should anyone not want to use it, then either don't use it or have it removed.

As Chris P said, but a third option is to leave the key on but shorten its touchpiece, so that it's still available when desired, but out of the way for 'normal' operations.
