If it has not been played for 30 years you can be pretty sure that it will need a service and probably at least a partial repad. Clarinets deteriorate in storage. The fact that it is in working order now is an indication that the keywork is functional, but doesn't tell you much about the condition of the pads and corks. Do you know what model it is? Reckon to have to spend some money on it to bring it up to playing condition.
