Those auditioning get the list of the music now. Have it faxed or emailed. Most of the audition will be very hard. Practicing your sight reading everyday for hours. These auditions are as hard as symphony auditions with about 100 people auditioning.
I need to say it was in 1980 when I was in the Air Force in Washington, so things may have changed a bit I'm sure. It will still be a wicked hard audition. Try to get in 4 to 6 hours of playing each day. Hope someone on this board wins! Have a blast.
Expect to see orchestra music being the focus of your audition. Not band music.
