Does anyone know of good repair techs here in Texas that can overhaul my clarinet? I have a Buffet Bb R13 that needs some maintenance already and don’t want to send out my clarinet out of state.

Justin Young in San Antonio. He only works on professional clarinets and oboes and is setup to do even the advanced procedures. The work is first rate.

John Butler in Sugarland Texas does excellent work, and is very reasonble. He advertises on this board and does restorations as well as adjustments. He is my my tech of choice!

John Butler in Sugarland, Texas (right outside Houston) did a fine job on a Leblanc Esprit clarinet I sent him a few months ago. https://jbwinds.com.

John Butler in Sugarland has done 5 of my clarinets over the last few years. All were Leblancs except the Buffet low C bass. The bass and one of the Bb's had the keys replated and he also extended the bass's thumb keys so they could be reached more easily. He does great work.

Justin and Heather both do great work. I don't know if Justin is back on the bench. He was taking a bit of a hiatus from repair. I would contact him first if you're thinking about sending anything his way.
