While there are plenty of pop tunes that use soprano clarinets in them, which pop tunes/songs use bass clarinet?
The only one I can think of is the Beatles - "When I'm Sixty-Four"

I think 'Midnight' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers has a bit of bass clarinet in it - not exactly prominent though

What modern pop songs use clarinet? When I looked I couldn't find anything made within the last 40 years, at least not any music that was made by anyone well known.

I always liked the little bass clarinet lick in the Adams Family theme. Sometimes I play this during rehearsal warmups and get little smiles and nods from bandmates.

"Death's Door" by Depeche Mode uses a clarinet(ish) choir. From what I understand, they recorded live players, then processed the sound to kinda tweek the tone/texture to their liking. It's more atmospheric.

There's a group called "Hopetoun Brown" here in NZ that features Bass clarinet quite a lot (the guy playing BC started his career as Bari Sax player in a group called Supergroove, I believe, and the BC isn't exactly errrr elegantly played).

Was re-watching "Love and Mercy" (the Brian Wilson biopic), in which the producers went to great pains to re-create the ethos of the mid-60s; a few of the scenes are shot in what used to be Western Studio 3, which evidently still exists as part of a modern studio. True to recording in the '60s, the scenes depicting recording had musicians crammed into the smallish room, and behold, there was a bass clarinet! Turns out Brian had bass clarinet on a number of "Pet Sounds" tunes, although so buried in the mix you couldn't really tell it was there unless you had a map. (Presumably played at the time by Jim Horn, who was all over Brian's music in those days on various woodwinds.)

Just watched the Björk video. Thanks for posting Anders! Clarinet sextet, with FOUR bass clarinets, playing a prominent role in both the music and video.
Must have been a pretty wild experience, getting hired for a bass clarinet studio session and then getting fitted for the costume.

"Rumour" was that the entire new album uses the clarinet sextet. The second song she released a few days ago doesn't seem to have them. Maybe it was just because of that one song, I guess we'll know in a few days.

Steely Dan used two bass clarinets to open up 'Babylon Sisters' on the Gaucho album. (possibly played by Tom Scott?) About the same kind of parts the kids would be playing in band. Not used in any live version that I could find.
I think GBK mentioned 'Sixteen Tons' by Ernie Ford. I read that it was played by Darol Rice, who was also a band member (often on fiddle) in the last few Roy Rogers movies at Republic.
Sixteen Tons and When I'm Sixty-Four are probably the best ones. Looking forward to checking out the Bjork thing.
