Support Devices for E flat clarinet
Author: RefacerMan

I am in contact with my first private clarinet teacher who is now 82 and still playing in local bands, etc. She is having a problem when she has to play E flat clarinet. She uses a neck strap, but her thumb sort of collapses and she asked if there was anything else that is available to support the weight of her E flat clarinet. Is there any rod type support device that anyone knows of? Thanks for any information you can provide.

Here are two possibilities - about $70

"Support brace"

I would e-mail Steve first to find out if the rod extends far enough to accommodate the eefer.
