Well everyone knows you wouldnt want one of those dull wooden buffet clarinets when you can have nice shiney plastic one.... heck even the new Buffet B-12's are "dull" looking.... Blake Arlington, VA

To be fair to the guy, he is describing the clarinet as well as he can. He doesn't say that shiny is good, he just says it is shiny. When I am buying stuff, I am grateful for every detail of description I can possibly get.
