Cho W Reeds

A shop here in Texas sells these. $35 for 6. Are these the best all and end all to reeds? Has anybody tried these?

The site below says it's "German cut" and from "German cane." I'm not sure if that means it's only good for German mouthpieces as well.

The rep from the company states that they are for french mpcs.

The reeds are $38.5 including shipping.

Unfortunately, there are no sizing variety packs.

The "German cane" seems to be a puzzle. If I think of where cane is grown now, Var France, Argentina,Spain and California, it doesn't seem that the climate in Germany would be hot enough.

Am I missing something here?

they are supposedly imported from Germany.
however, the rep did not know the exact location.
if this were the case, they are well traveled reeds (from Germany to SK to USA).
