Hi
Is this a Buffet stencil? Says Lyons Aristocrat. Looks pretty much exactly like a buffet as far as the shape of the barrel, bell and keys. There are supposedly some minor differences but I'm not sure.
The serial number is the same as a Buffet from 1937.
Thanks

Definitely not a Buffet unfortunately. The trill key guide is a dead giveaway. The keywork is also different from most Buffets.

Also this begs the question - did Buffet themselves stencil clarinets for other companies?
I know they had and still have clarinets stencilled for them, but were there Buffet (pro level) clarinets that didn't carry the Buffet logo?

I have a very old Carl Fischer clarinet that I've always thought was a Buffet. I'll try to remember to take some photos.
