Who is manufacturing the new ICON mouthpieces for Buffet? Who manufactured the ones that were shipped with clarinets previously?

Based on that they seem to be made of acrylic, not ebonite, my guess is that they are made by ernst schreiber, or ESM, as they call their firm. At least years ago the mps that came with the instrument bearing the model name f2a, were made by esm. They aren't bad at all mouthpieces, i used to play with them for a while.

I now have a headache from examining their current lineup.
It is curious how they do provide a tip opening and facing length measurement for their headache inducing line, but not for their ICON pieces. It's a fair bet that their version of "Classic" and "Longer tip" (also safe to assume there was a translation error and they meant LARGER tip) are still more open than what is more common in the US.
Except for a well reworked Buffet\Chedeville from the mid 20th century, it would be pretty surprising to hear that a professional\serious player, in the US especially, had chosen to play an ICON over the copious amount of available options that are no doubt superior in most every way.
They still make some good instruments, despite their consistency issues. I'm convinced that most any instrument I choose, even if new, will require a trip to the repair tech to have cork pads installed on the upper joint and a variety of adjustments customized to me that I wouldn't (and shouldn't) expect on a new horn.

I wouldn't go near a buffet mouthpiece with a 10 foot pole, not even an ICON. So many other mouthpiece makers these days with far superior models. No idea who is manufacturing them, sorry OP just my 2 cents worth.

I am gathering Buffet Chedeville C Crown and C mouthpieces because sometime in the future the value will probably increase. I remember not to long ago Charles Chedeville mouthpieces had no value and now they are selling for $200.00 plus.
