So many mouthpieces play so different for different people. The biggest mistake students make is assuming if they get the same mouthpiece, or any equipment someone else uses, they will get the same result. My advise, try as many as possible over time with a variety of different strength reeds and sooner or later you will find the "perfect" MP until you want to look again. Many mail order stores will send you 3-4 to try on a contingency basis. Another way is to try some friends MPs and go to a clarinet convention and try many there but don't secume to the pressure of the manufacture who will tell you how great you sound on their MP. Take it into a room and work with several reeds before deciding. One MP may sound better with a softer or harder reed so always take your time before paying.
