Just received the June issue of "the clarinet". If you are not a member of ICA it may be worth your while to join just to get the mag.. It is quality publication. Has the complete line up for fest 2001.
Check it out.

Actually the Website for the Fest is more accurate than the magazine due to lead times. I know - I have to update it ;^)

IMHO the magazine is great for lots of other reasons than just the "Fest" listings. All of us should be members of the ICA to support free clarinetistry and enjoy the info provided by this remarkable publication.

Williams is 100% on target. The technical articles are like lessons. The history provided in bio's & stories is _WONDERFUL_. Students get a sepcial deal, discounted price. Regular memberships are a cheap date at $40.00 per year. This organization so much for Clarinetists.

Best,
mw

Who knew the clarinet world of Slovenia was so lively?

I miss O. Lee Gibson's reviews of clarinets - does anyone know what happened? Have some advertisers been unhappy with his reviews????

Not to my knowledge. Why don't you write to Jim Gillespie, the editor, and ask?

I guess we can assume you were just kidding. There is _NO RUSH_ that I am aware of. Rose takes subscriptions 365 days a year via her fax machine or snail mail. Back issues of The Clarinet are available for purchase at any time, too.

Best,
mw

I was kidding. However people are more willing to do something if they think there is a rush on. As soon as the light go out everyone rush out to buy flashlights etc. etc. etc.
so join now before the RUSH begins.
