If truly discontinued it would probably be (1) his supplier can't provide them anymore or of the quality Tom demands (2) new model coming out (3) Tom is retiring ...

I'll bet none of those are currently true ... I think Tom still has a lot of "good tread" left on him ... at least I hope he does ...

Tom Ridenour should get with Brad Behn ... Brad hinted that a hard rubber clarinet is something he is interested in making. Cool!
