I believe that she will emerge as one of the premiere clarinetists of the 21st century. She was at Stanford Jazz Workshop this summer, so I got to see her play a lot and attend a master class of hers (I live nearby to Stanford University).
Her command of the instrument and multiple genres is mind-boggling and a treat to listen to...particularly the Brazilian influence.

Was there for her Tentet performance last week at the Performing Arts Center in Northridge, CA.
The concert was a swinging, klezmer, choro and contemporary music work of marvelous art.
She is one of a kind: Clarinet mastery and pure musical artist.
Her Tentet deserves to be a permanent fixture and inspiration for all music lovers.

Just downloaded her new album..."Happy Song". Tremendous breadth, virtuosity and just downright fun/enjoyable! Best new clarinet extravaganza of the year
