I don't see any $1500 Buffet R13s on Amazon (unless someone just bought it within the last few hours) and that serial number is higher than some new R13s I've tried within the last few years. It seems highly unlikely that someone would buy a brand new R13 just to sell it soon after getting it and lose $2000. Also if it is a private sale through Amazon I don't think it would be in Amazon's custody, at least that's how it worked when I sold some small things over Amazon.
