Back in May (2017) I messaged Brad Behn about trying a mouthpiece. Also at that time I expressed interest in Kaspar mouthpieces. Brad offered to send his SONO 1.08 and to make me a SONO Kaspar 13 to try. I ended up purchasing two amazing mouthpieces.
-SONO (1.08) - This mouthpiece has such a sweet sound. Sweet, yet still powerful when needed. This piece plays very easily with Aria 3.5 reeds. Articulation is great, wonderful crisp staccato. Sound focuses very easily.
-SONO Kaspar 13 - This mouthpiece really sings. The sound I get from this mouthpiece is so rich and vibrant. Easily the most powerful mouthpiece I've ever played, and yet it keeps its beautiful colorful sound at all dynamics. Articulation is very precise and easy all the way up to double C. Perfect for me with Aria 3.5 reeds.
In the end I bought both mouthpieces because they are that good, but for me the Kaspar is my first choice. Thank you Brad Behn for your amazing craftsmanship.
