Try Lisa's Clarinets or Walter Grabner for used clarinets ... might be a little more, but should be instruments in good shape ... they will send you clarinets for trial ... I am sure there are many others that deal with good used, reconditioned instruments ...
I am a fan of the R13 greenline clarinets ... I think the consistency is much better ... not sure about the used market on these ...
Don't buy without a try ...
You can purchase mostly new Yamaha CSVRs, as "store demonstrators" for less than $2500.00 ... from Brasswind-Woodwind
And new Ridenour 576BCs are less than a grand ... a nice horn.
