Sara and others! IMS and Altieri case bags

Sara, have you recieved your altieri bag from IMS yet?

Mine still hasn't arrived. I called and they said it was on backorder. I ordered like some time at the very end of May.

Does anyone know of some other place where I can get a deluxe altieri case bag for a single R13 case? Do they have them at WWandBW?

They don't have the deluxe ones at the Woodwind and Brasswind, but they did say that I had to send a check for the difference in the old price and the new price. But for the price you and I paid, its the cheapest, so I would just wait it out, because if you order it directly from the company its around 120 bucks, jsut wait it out. Email them and ask them how long they'll be on backorder, I mean how long can it take?

Linus, you get what you pay for! Wait for the Altieri. Three of my tubas are valued at over $7000 each. I wouldn't trust hauling them around in any gig bag but an Altieri. There generally is a reason for backorders...the company makes a quality product. And in this case, it's a product worth waiting for.
