I'm a doubler...I mainly use a Fobes SF RR (0.071" tip with 24mm length), but also own an HB (0.080" tip, 25mm)...these are measured.
The RR is just the right balance between enough resistance to play the upper clarion and altiss, but relatively freeblowing. THe HB was just too freeblowing...maybe if I ever play BC enough I will be able to handle it.
Have a modern B46 as well, which had similar limitations (for me) as the HB.
Fobes Debut is very easy to play, but I was unable to generate enough power with it for big band, which is my main BC use.
Have a Ridenour Artist as well, but it is unremarkable.
Have thought about trying a Grabner, as a K14 is one of my two choices on soprano clarinet.
