 Custom bass necks
Author: hunterirwin

I am looking for a custom neck for my bass clarinet. I have a Selmer 32 low C, but the angle on it is too flat for me when I play. I am wanting more of a Buffet-type angle, that is steep. I have looked into brands like Blashaus, but have no idea how to purchase one. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Thanks,

Hunter Irwin

Hi Hunter,

You can buy one through Moe Bleichner Distribution:

Hunter,

Check out Michael Lowenstern on EarSpam. He uses a custom (?) neck on his Selmer bass. His lessons are great, as is his playing.

Mike
