I recently received an almost new R13 but the Clarinet has no Serial #. I am trying to figure out the particulars on the horn, silver or nickel keys and whatever other specifications that are needed to post the correct information. This Clarinet was purchased for someone as a gift, the individual played it 3 times then put it up, it is really like new. I tried adding pictures (attachments) but for some reasons it won't let me. I do have pictures so any help would be appreciated.
HELP: This is the message I keep getting when trying to upload pictures:

I would be highly suspicious of a Buffet without a serial number. Every instrument made after 1885 should have a serial number. Is the inside of the bell smooth like plastic?

The serial numbers aren't stamped particularly well on Buffets and take some patience to see and decipher - they're stamped on the top joint immediately above the middle tenon (to the left of the C#/G# tonehole) and above the tenon on the lower joint.
The barrel and bell with have R13 B stamped on the back of them and the barrel will also have the length stamped on it, so should say R13 B 660 or R13 B 650 (for a Bb clarinet barrel of 66mm or 65mm).
Silver plating is standard on R13s, the logos will have 'Made in France' immediately below them and the R13 doesn't have any other markings on the front to say it's an R13 (whereas the RC and others will).
On the lower joint you should see some recesses milled into the wood to make clearance for the RH F#/C# and E/B touchpieces. The wood is dyed with alcohol based dye, so that will be removed with alcohol and is a deep purple colour.
The bell ring is unplated solid nickel silver, so will have a yellowy or dull look about it compared to the silver plated keys and socket rings.
