This work by Gernot Wolfgang for clarinet and piano was commissioned by Austrian clarinetist Alex Ladstatter in 2013. Afendi Yusuf gave the first American performance last year in Los Angeles--a fitting location considering that the composer had the California landscape in mind when he wrote it.

A worthy piece in a worthy performance by Taylor Mariano (a classmate of Yusuf at the Colburn school.)
