Hello everyone
Does anybody have any recomendations for pieces written for Clarinet and piano by Japanese composers? I have heard a lot of saxophone music but none for clarinet...

On IMSLP there is a piece called "3 Variation Routes". Another piece out there that is wonderful is called "4 Pieces in Bird Shape" and a newer piece called "Wooden". I don't have the composers names in front of me, and I don't want to butcher the spelling. But I do know all the composers are Japanese.

Also, there is a nice unaccompanied piece called "Ren-Ga" by Kitazume. Also, the composers for the pieces above, in order are Kihei Kondo, Takeshi Yoshimatsu and Takeo Kudo. Hope that helps. Also, the "4 Pieces in Bird Shape" you can get through Van Cott music and the "Wooden" piece you can email the composer through his work email at the University of Hawaii and he will send you the music.
