See reply in the other thread. Your Evette is likely not from 1963, and was not made by Buffet. It was made by Shreiber for Buffet, and is likely not the same quality as the Evette's actually made by Buffet, which have serial numbers which begin with "D". I don't have any experience with Shreiber-made Evettes, but they don't seem to be coveted near as much as the D-series ones. When Buffet changed from Evette and Evette Schaeffer to B12, E11 and E13, if Buffet took that production in-house, you might expect it to be a better horn.
