The N4 is cold and shiny so think it must be plastic. The Vandoern is discoloured and warmer so Hard rubber.
Just finished restoring an old Evette wooden model from 1963, 12 hours to plug leaks in the upper joint now it plays a treat,so happy and can tell the difference from my YCL 23N and B12s for the 1st time. Is the Evette on a par with the E11? doesnt seem to command the same price
Thanks & take care
