I just bought a wooden EVETTE clarinet. I wonder if anyone can shed some light on its history?. it is wooden but I am not sure what type of wood it is?
It has a mouthpiece N4 France? Is it hard rubber is it as good as say a Vandoren?
The wording is just EVETTE in capitals with two leaves underneath in an oval . it only says that Not Evette & Shafer or under licence.
What is this model? I am guessing it is an older version of an E11? Is it as good as an E11?. Does its age have a factor in its value/collectability? How old do you think it is?
